Part of the boutique Jackalope hotel complex on the Willow Creek Vineyard, Doot Doot Doot is the culinary cherry on top of the cake for visitors to this gourmet playground. Space is an intimate 80 seater and like the name, has a ceiling constructed with over 10,000 lights that sparkle one will not forget, designed by Melbourne artist Jane Flock. An opportunity with Willow Creek Vineyard brought Stephane and his family to the Mornington Peninsula, where he has been entrenched in the food and wine scene ever since.

“I’ve always wanted to bring this style of French eating to my own family and friends in Australia… so I have created an environment where people feel relaxed, where customers can come for an easy night out with the family or settle in for the full French eating and drinking experience”, says Stephane.

Orita's Japanese Fusion Cuisine was named after my family name and was officially opened to the general public on 16th January 2001 IN TOORAK. 
My dream since the age of 15 was to have my own restaurant in the country I love most. I decided that this country was to be Australia when I came here for the first time. This was twenty years ago when I first visited Australia to do market research for the Hyatt International. Then eight years later I had the opportunity to be back again to do the opening set up of Hyatt Regency Adelaide Shiki Restaurant as the Area Japanese Chef for Hyatt Asia Pacific.
My Vision is to implement my  55 years of Traditional Japanese Cooking experience in a Modern Art Form. I wish to express my Food Artistry, in the form of my personal recipes, as a new standard of cuisine where food and wine are harmoniously balanced with the surroundings and ambience of my restaurant.
After 16 years of running the business in Toorak I decided to move to Balnarring Village where I plan to be semi retired but still yet be in touch of my passion and hobbie of a Naturist , gardening and fishing.
